Oh Wow! I made it through day seven of The 7-Day Healthy Cleanse by Shaklee and I am stil going strong. I am actually feeling better in that I have for some time and I’ve had absolutely NO upset stomach… NOT ONCE, during this entire week. Usually I have to drink Gingerale to calm my tummy several days a week. So, what I have been eating obviously is not really good for me! Something at least?
So, how do I solve this challenged? I believe I will stay on the cleanse diet and gradually add in one of the food items that I had been eating on a regular basis (obviously it is NOT my morning oatmeal) and find what it is that upsets my tummy and delete that item from my diet, even if it is a favorite. And I will also continue consuming more COLD Filtered Water than I had in the past.
Now that I am done with the cleanse I looked at the brochure that came with it and it suggests adding a MultiVitamin and a good Protein Powder to your diet. I am adding Shaklee’s Vita-Lea Gold (with Vitamin K), Herb-Lax, amd NutriFeron (an Immunity booster). My protein choice is Shaklee’s Life Shake Plant Protein Powder (see below) that I wrote about on Day 6 (Friday).
