Making Money with Traffic Exchanges

In my last post I mentioned that I had begun a training program that teaches you how to get the most out of Traffic Exchanges. The big “hook” for me was the possibility of making $20 or more an hour simply surfing Traffic Exchanges (T/E’s).  And if you’re awake, and reading MY Blog post, you too would probably be interested in that kind of money for simply clicking away for a while.

Well, it’s not that simple. But you knew that, didn’t you? What I am learning is that WHAT you promote on the T/E’s can make a LOT of difference in your results.

Quick question:  How many things have YOU purchased that you saw on a T/E?  If I’m guessing correctly, your answer was probably NOTHING!  Right?

Well, if YOU aren’t buying anything, why would anyone else?

So, how does this work then?  First, you don’t promote pages that sell anything. Instead, offer something of value to your prospect for FREE. For them to get it, use a form to collect their name and email address (with your autoresponder).

Once you have their name and email address, you can email them on occasion (Not EVERY day with something to buy) and share some tips and tricks you’ve learned. And you can occasionally include a link to something YOU are promoting that they Might buy if you’ve created enough interest with your email series.

Build your list and share information with them. Don’t badger or always have something for them to buy. Give lots and you will gain their trust and when the time is right they will buy from you.

That’s what I’m gaining from my training so far.

More as time goes on…

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it.

Can you make money with Traffic Exchanges?

If you’re new to the internet and don’t know what a Traffic Exchange is… here’s a brief description.

I have something to sell so I create a webpage to advertise it. I join a Traffic Exchange, buy some credits and load them up so my advertisement will be shown to people who visit the Traffic Exchange.

If you wonder who will come to the Traffic Exchange, here is where the magic begins.  With Traffic Exchanges (T/E’s), and there are hundreds of them, they all have members who want you to look at what they have to sell. When someone comes from another T/E and looks at my page, they earn a credit for looking at my page and I gave up a credit for showing it to them.

Now I can also look at pages on other T/E’s and earn credits that I can use to show MY page to others.

Typically, the time that people spend actually looking at a page on T/E’s is short. 2 – 6 seconds would be typical, I think. So how do you actually sell anything or make any money with Traffic Exchanges?

First of all, the page you put up for others to look at MUST be Fast Loading. With only 2 to 6 seconds of exposure to the viewer, you can’t make ANY money with a page that doesn’t load almost instantaneously!

Second, your page needs to create enough curiosity that they want to know more. Enough so that they will actually put their name and email in a form you place on that page. (Called a Lead Capture page.)

Third, with their name and email, you send them a series of emails via your Autoresponder and over time, with the right messages that generate enough interest, you can finally get your sale. To learn more about autoresponders, go here:

I’m currently enrolled in a training program that teaches users how to really get the most out of Traffic Exchanges. If you’re interested in knowing more, click the link and check it out. There is a FREE version and if you wish, there is a PRO version that really “Up’s the Ante”. Go HERE:

I hope to see you there

Autoresponders: Features & Benefits

If you’re in sales you surely know that following up with your customers can often result in that first sale and maybe even repeat sales. When we do business, following up is a must for achieving sales success.

Let me ask you… Who of has the time or inclination to personally email every person who responds to your advertisements that offers a product, service or information for sale. I know I’m not interested in doing that and it’s my opinion that you shouldn’t be wasting YOUR valuable time doing it either!

However, if you create a series of email messages that help create more sales of your product, service or information, you can load all of them into an autoresponder that will send them out for you automatically at whatever interval you set them up for. The beauty of using the autoresponder is that it will work for you tirelessly, 24/7/365. Most all autoresponders will also personalize your messages for you if you select those options.

Getting an email addressed to you, by name, is always more pleasing that simply one that starts off with a sales pitch… don’t you agree?

A feature of most autoresponders is the ability to space your messages out as you wish. You can send your messages once a day, once a week, once a month. You simply decide and select the correct interval for your purposes.

So why haven’t you begun using an autoresponder? Is it the thought that it will be difficult to set up? Or is it that you don’t really feel like you would really get your money’s worth? I have witnessed several of my clients who have built HUGE lists using an autoresponder to collect the name and email addresses of prospects that later became paying customers. Many of them had NO other things going for them. The autoresponder package allows you to create the form that the name and email are entered in. The code is added to your advertisement or sales page and as soon as the person fills in the information and sends it along… the autoresponder INSTANTLY sends them back an email and asks them to click a link IN that email to CONFIRM that they really wanted to be added to the list.  When your prospect clicks to confirm, you then have that Double Opt-In list member who has not just held their hand up once but TWICE!

After they’re confirmed, then the Autoresponder begins sending the information that you offered (that enticed them to sign up in the first place) and it follows up with the message series that you have loaded in it… spaced out at the intervals you choose (one day to… several days or weekly or monthly or longer).

You can opt to have the autoresponder send you an email EVERY time someone signs up or you can simply check on a regular basis to see how your list is growing.

If at this point you’re thinking that all this is way too complicated or technical for you, I can assure you that the training sections of the services I use are awesome. There are videos that you can watch and learn all the steps necessary to do just anything you would want to do with your autoresponder. And if that isn’t enough, there is Technical Support staff that is “over the top” helpful and they can and will guide you, step by step, through any difficulties you might have.

The last point I might address is creating the content for your autoresponder to send out. Some of us are not gifted writers. However, there are services that will do the writing for you and for a nominal fee. There are many services that will write your content for you. You give them the subject, tell them what you want articles about, about how long you want them to be and they’ll write something up and send you something to check out. If it works for you, simply pay their fee and load up the content. If it needs help, communicate with them and get it done to your standards.

So, what is the bottom line here? I’d say it is getting started. Check out our preferred autoresponder and all the training that you will receive.

10 Blazing Ways To Sky-Rocket Your Profits

1. Use a “P.S.” at the end of your ad copy. This is were you either want to repeat a strong benefit or use a strong close like a free bonus.

2. Publish a free ebook and give it away from your web site or in your e-zine. This will increase your traffic, sales and e-zine subscribers.

3. Create multiple streams of income with your web site. You could sell your own products, join affiliate programs, sell advertising space, etc.

4. Give your visitors compliments in your ad copy. This can earn their trust and put them in a good mood, in return they will be easier to sell too.

5. Create new products or services only if there is a strong need for them. You won’t have anyone to sell them to if you don’t have a market.

6. Sell your backend products to your customers right after they order. Take them to a “Thank You” web page that includes other products you sell.

7. Sell a few products on your web site instead of selling a large amount of products. To many choices can overwhelm your visitors and they won’t buy.

8. Include content and free stuff on your web site that promote the products you’re selling. If they don’t read your ads, they may read your offerings.

9. Remind your visitors that you’re human not just a web site. You could publish information on your family life, a picture of yourself, a profile, etc.

10. Provide a “Contact Page” on your web site. Give your visitors as many options to contact you as possible. This’ll add credibility to your business.

10 Benefits Of Submitting Articles To E-zines

1. You’ll brand your web site, business and yourself by submitting articles to e-zines. You can (and should) include your name, business name, your credentials, web site address and e-mail address in your resource box.

2. You can become known as an expert on the topics you write about. This will give you and your business extra credibility which will help you compete against your competition.

3. Your article might also be placed on the publisher’s home page. If they publish each issue on their home page this will give you some extra exposure.

4. You might get extra exposure if the e-zine publisher archives their e-zine on their site. People might want to read the back issues before they make the decision to subscribe.

5. You will get free advertising. This will allow you to spend your profits on other forms of advertising. You could buy advertisements in other e-zines that don’t publish your articles.

6. You might get extra income from people wanting to hire you to write other articles, books, or even ask to speak at seminars. This is a great way to multiply your income.

7. You could allow e-zine publishers to publish your articles in their free e-books. Since people give them away, your advertising could multiply all over the internet.

8. You will get your article published all over the web when you submit it to an e-zine publisher that has a free content directory on their web site. They’ll allow their visitors to republish your article.

9. You’ll gain people’s trust. If they read your article and like it, they won’t be as hesitant to buy your product or service. You will then be able to increase your profits.

10. You could get your article guaranteed to run in an e-zine. You could agree to run one of their articles in your e-zine if, in exchange, they run yours in their e-zine. It’s a win/win situation.
